MCDONALDS in Edmonton, Alberta is hiring a Food Service Counter Attendant. This position is located in a rural area, and candidates should be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include taking customer orders, packaging take-out food, portioning and wrapping foods, and preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items. You will also keep records of the quantities of food used and replenish condiments and other supplies.
Maintaining cleanliness is crucial; duties involve clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs, operating dishwashers, sanitizing items, washing dishes by hand, and scouring pots and pans. You will also clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
Additional tasks include handling and storing cleaning products, receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies, removing kitchen garbage, sharpening kitchen knives, sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, and preparing vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
Applicants must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and a Food Safety Certificate. Experience operating a deep fryer, electronic cash register, food dispensers, and grill is beneficial. Training will be provided.
A criminal record check is required for security and safety. Candidates should be able to handle heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, working under pressure and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail is essential.
