Daniel Garbage Removal & Renovation Ltd. is hiring a Demolition Foreman/Woman in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role involves supervising demolition projects in a work environment that can be dangerous, dusty, noisy, and odorous. Equipment operation is a key part of the work setting for this position.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving work problems, providing technical advice, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality. You will coordinate and schedule activities, as well as coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers. Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed and establishing methods to meet work schedules are also key duties. This role requires requisitioning materials and supplies, and supervising workers and projects.

Requirements

Applicants must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 to less than 3 years of experience in construction. Required certifications include a First Aid Certificate and a Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. A valid driver's licence and basic security clearance are necessary. The role demands working under pressure and may require overtime. Personal suitability traits include accuracy, dependability, excellent oral communication, good judgement, and being organized.
