About the Role

Oddfellows Barbershop in Halifax, Nova Scotia is seeking a dedicated Barber to join their team. This position offers flexible working hours, including day, evening, morning, and weekend shifts, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include booking client appointments and performing a comprehensive range of barbering services. You will be expected to cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair according to client preferences. Additionally, you will shave and trim beards and mustaches, and provide professional recommendations on suitable hairstyles.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid Barber Licence or Hairstylist Licence. While no specific degree, certificate, or diploma is required, experience in the field is considered an asset. Essential personal qualities include excellent oral communication skills, a strong client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
